Hyatt updated the chart in May 2026 to a five-tier structure — Lowest, Low, Moderate, Upper, and Top — running from roughly 3,000 points a night up to 75,000 for a Top-tier Category 8 property.
That range is wider than before, and top-category costs rose sharply. But the chart is still fixed and published, so you know the exact price before you transfer a single point.
The 2026 Ratio Change: Who Gets 1:1 and Who Gets 4:3
Through 2025, every Chase card transferred to Hyatt at 1:1. That changed in 2026: Chase Sapphire Reserve keeps 1:1. Every other eligible card — Sapphire Preferred and Ink Business Preferred — moved to 4:3.
New Sapphire Preferred applicants as of June 15, 2026 got 4:3 immediately. Existing Sapphire Preferred and Ink Business Preferred cardholders kept 1:1 through September 30, 2026, with 4:3 taking effect October 1, 2026.
