That membership, layered on top of Virgin's older bilateral joint venture with Delta and Air France-KLM across the Atlantic, means Flying Club members can book award seats on Delta One, Air France business, and KLM World Business Class through Virgin's own program rather than through each airline's separate loyalty currency.

That matters because Delta SkyMiles has moved to fully dynamic pricing, where a Delta One seat to Europe can be a great deal one day and cost well over 100,000 miles the next. Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, by contrast, still prices most Delta and Air France-KLM partner awards against a largely fixed points chart. For a points strategist, that makes Flying Club one of the few remaining ways to know roughly how many points a Delta One seat will cost before you start searching — and Wells Fargo Rewards is one of the cleanest ways to fund it.
